Think virtual learning's a drag? Well, some high school teachers in Georgia just turned it into a bop! Callie Evans and Audri Williams, who teach and coach cheerleading at Monroe Comprehensive High School in Albany, are going viral thanks to their remix of Jack Harlow's "What's Poppin," with new lyrics all about the opportunities students have to learn from home. "You got options, but you better pass my class no floppin' / Gon' log in, every day, every morning, I'm watchin,'" Evans raps. "Yeah we virtual, and you know what's up, so we 'bout to take it up a notch." The rap comes complete with a professional-looking music video that features Evans rapping in a school hallway while being flanked by several masked dancers. On Instagram, Williams also wrote, "We are in for a wild ride this school year, but let’s make the best of it! What better way to release all of the anxiety, doubts and fears of the school year than to dance." [NPR]
