Comedy Central is on a cancellation rampage, ending the long-running Tosh.0 just a day after likewise canning Drunk History. "After 12 years together, Comedy Central and I are consciously uncoupling," Daniel Tosh tweeted Thursday. "They get the cartoons, and I'm heading to any network with stronger wifi." UPI reports that the Tosh.0 a seventh season of Drunk History earlier this year before giving it the boot this past Wednesday. Daniel Tosh and Viacom CBS, which owns Comedy Central, will reportedly team up to try to sell the show to another network or platform. The moves come as Comedy Central pivots to adult animated comedies like an upcoming Beavis and Butt-Head revival, a Ren and Stimpy Show reboot and a Daria spin-off titled Jodie.
