The NFL wrapped up its regular season on Sunday with the final playoff spots confirmed. This upcoming Wild Card playoff weekend is different because each conference has an additional team in the tournament. That means instead of 4 Wild Card games, we get 6.
The line-up goes like this:
Saturday, January 9th: Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills: 10:05 a.m. (CBS) - Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks: 1:40 p.m. (FOX) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Football Team: 5:15 p.m. (NBC).
Sunday, January 10th: Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans: 10:05 p.m. (ESPN) - Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints: 1:40 p.m. (CBS and Nickelodeon, more on that below) - Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers: 5:15 p.m. (NBC) [Source: Sports Illustrated]
About that Nickelodeon Wild Card game... The Chicago Bears/New Orleans Saints game on Sunday will not only air on CBS, but also on Nickelodeon. Yes, the NFL is coming to Nickelodeon with January 10th's Wild Card game.
You'll see play-by-play announcer Noah Eagles, plus CBS Sports NFL analyst Nate Burleson and Nickelodeon star Gabrielle Nevaeh Green. There will also be The Spongebob SportsPants Countdown Special with Denver Broncos' Von Miller and CBS Sports' Jim Nantz and Tony Romo.
