If you like your coffee strong, you could be helping yourself avoid cardiovascular disease and cancer. You may even live longer.
This is according to new data published by The Journal of Nutrition after studying the health and habits of over 20,000 people who drank espresso, or strong coffee.
Researchers found that those who drank a few shots-worth of espresso every day over eight years had lower risks of cardiovascular disease than those who didn't drink coffee.
They believe espresso's life-extending benefits may come from a specific compound in the coffee beans.
