Not every town can be a Los Angeles or a Savannah, but only a few can be named Slickpoo or Climax.
Redbook took a hilarious inventory of some of the weirdest town names in the U.S. and found places like:
- Tightwad, Missouri - honoring the time a store owner ripped off a postman during a transaction.
- Dumber, New Hampshire - named after a former state Governor.
- Lizard Lick, North Carolina - which took its name after the locals saw lizards, well, licking themselves...
- ... and Pee Pee, Ohio, home of Pee Pee Creek.
