It appears more Californians will be eligible for the Golden State Stimulus check, Governor Gavin Newsom announced today.
According to Governor Newsom's Tweet:
NEW: CA will be expanding the Golden State Stimulus to middle class families -- creating the biggest state tax rebate in US history. 2 out of every 3 Californians will now benefit from a stimulus check of at least $600. And families with kids will now get an additional $500.
In a preview of Newsom's $100 billion "The California Comeback plan" that will provide relief to more middle class families or what his office is calling the "Largest State Tax Rebate in American History", stating that it will provide "additional direct payments to middle-class families that make up to $75,000."
