Toyota is recalling more than 227,000 2018 and 2019 Camrys.
The sedans brake system components can wear prematurely, causing problems with the Camry's brake assistance, making drivers more likely to crash. If you own a 2018 or '19 Camry that needs to be checked, Toyota will notify you by mid-January. Toyota will inspect the vacuum pump and repair or replace it in all affected Camrys for free.
If you want to see if your Camry is apart of the recall now, visit Toyota.com/recall and check using your car's VIN or your license plate number.
