Santa will have an easy time finding Tim Gay's home in Lagrangeville, New York. He's set a Guinness World Record for his holiday light display! Gay's display features 687,000 lights; his family had previously broken the Guinness record in 2012 and 2014 with their display.
Gay explained why he lights up his property like an airport runaway, saying " I grew up in a family of eight children and our mom made the holidays magical for the whole family. From Thanksgiving to New Years, it was like Grand Central Station in our house. It was very special to us."
His light display is put to good use; it's an annual fundraiser to local charities. Gay hopes this year's display will raise $500,000! [UPI]
