It's the first Monday in May, which means it's time for the Met Gala. The annual event captures the world's attention as celebrities hit the stairs with one-of-a-kind outfits.
The Met Gala takes place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and money raised from the event goes to the museum's Costume Institute. This year's theme is "In America: An Anthology of Fashion."
