Lizzo has scored herself an Emmy nomination for her Amazon Prime Video competition program, Lizzo's Watch Out For The Big Grrrls.
The eight-episode unscripted series follows Lizzo as she searches for a new squad of backup dancers to join her world tour. Lizzo's show earned a total of six nominations. Lizzo serves as host and executive producer on the Amazon series. Her series is up against fellow nominees The Amazing Race, Nailed It!, Top Chef, The Voice, and RuPaul’s Drag Race, which has won the category for the past four years.
Lizzo posted her reaction on Instagram saying:

For the lives we touched making this… To shake up the industry.. and show the world how BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED WE AREEEEE! BIG GRRRLS ARE BOOKED, BLESSED, AND BUSY 💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾 YOU BETTA WATCH OUT!"
The 74th Emmy Awards will air on Sept. 12 on NBC and also stream on Peacock.
