Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are denying child molestation claims against them. A lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday accusing both comedians of molesting a 7-year-old boy in 2014.

The suit was filed by Jane Doe. She claims Haddish "groomed" her and her younger brother. The documents claim that Spears molested the boy on film and Haddish "aided, abetted, and watched Spears sexually molest a child." The boy, known as John Doe in the suit, claims he was given a drink to make him sleepy and some "happy face candy." The lawsuit says the footage was published on Funny or Die. It was titled "Through a Pedophiles Eyes" The video was deleted last May.

Haddish's attorney told PEOPLE, "Plaintiff's mother, Trizah Morris, has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years. Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down." The attorney continued, "Now, Ms. Morris has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action."

Spears' lawyer said the client "isn't going to fall for any shakedown."
