It might be a good time to find out how much sick time you have stored up. The CDC warns that flu season has intensified, with more than 6 million confirmed cases in the US so far.
During the week of November 19th, the flu hospitalized 53,000 and was the cause of death for 29,000.
Hospitalizations from the flu are the highest they've been since 2010/2011's flu season. States hit hardest by the flu so far, are California, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Washington, Virginia and New Jersey.
