20-year-old Afshin Ghaderzadeh has been named the world's shortest man by Guinness.
At 2-feet, 1.6 inches, the Iranian is nearly three inches shorter than the world's previous shortest man, 36-year-old Edward Hernandez of Columbia.
Weighing only 1.5 pounds at birth, Ghaderzadeh now weighs just over 14 pounds.
With limited job options due to his physical limitations, Ghaderzadeh said "My dream is to be able to help my parents. This global recognition might help me achieve my dream."
