Jenna Ortega in Wednesday is a monster hit for Netflix that is shattered records for the streaming platform. Fans are now curious and hopeful that the hit series is getting a second season.
Netflix’s head of U.S. and Canada scripted series Peter Friedlander responded to the possibility.
“You may know what I’m going to say — but I have nothing to confirm at this time. I am optimistic about Wednesday. We’ll leave it at that,” he told Variety.
Hey, optimistic is a word we will take.
In a separate interview, with TV Line, co-showrunners Miles Millar and Al Gough revealed that they planned Wednesday storylines as far out as “four seasons." Sounds promising!
