Austin Butler was spotted at a pre-Golden Globes party in Los Angeles on Sunday night (January 8), acting as a bodyguard for Lisa Marie Presley as they arrived together. Director Baz Luhrmann also joined the 31-year-old actor, who portrayed Lisa‘s real father, Elvis Presley, in the Elvis biopic.
Austin rocked a sparkly pin-stripe jacket for the bash, which was also to celebrate what would have been Elvis‘ 88th birthday.
Speaking to People over the weekend, Austin revealed that he’s bringing his sister Ashley as his date to the Golden Globe awards on Tuesday. “She’s my one and only sister, so it’ll be nice to be with her,” he shared. BTW, Austin is dating Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber.
Good luck to Austin, who's up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture Drama. Along with Austin's nomination, Elvis was nominated for two additional Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture — Drama and also Best Director for Baz Luhrmann.
