Pat McAfee is an electrifying personality on ESPN’s College GameDay, and he was no different during the National Championship game.
A few minutes into the first quarter, after the Georgia Bulldogs recovered a fumble and took control of the ball in TCU land, Pat screamed this on the broadcast: “With where you guys are standing down there, the Georgia Bulldogs are about to come right in your face.”
College football fans ran with that on social media.
"Watching the National Championship game is 1000 times more entertaining when they give Pat McAfee a live mic and just let him go," commented one user.
"Pat Mcafee just dropped the most aggressively casual “come in your face” in the history of television 🤣," another wrote.
He didn't stop there. At the end of the game, Pat McAfee went on the thank everyone for another great college season saying: "Thank you to the college community for allowing me to penetrate you this season and be inside of you all year long."
