Tiny bottles of Fireball Cinnamon might not have the punch you were expecting. The drink doesn't actually contain whiskey. It's a malt beverage that mimics the taste.
An Illinois woman filed a lawsuit against Sazerac Company, the maker of Fireball, for misleading packaging. Anna Marquez says the labels on the tiny bottles are similar to the bigger (and more potent) bottles of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey. Sazerac's website says Fireball Cinnamon Whisky has 33 percent alcohol by volume, while the small Fireball Cinnamon has 16.5 percent alcohol.
Even though the difference is spelled out on the website, the lawsuit claims the notification isn't enough to dissuade everyday people from picking up the tiny bottles. [Read More]
