The NFL released its 2023 schedule on Thursday night. The first game of the season will be the Kansas City Chiefs raising a new championship banner against the Detroit Lions on September 7th.
Aaron Rodgers will debut with the New York Jets versus the Buffalo Bills on the first Monday Night Football matchup of the season. Rodgers' presence on the Jets has the squad on primetime four times.
A Super Bowl rematch between the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will take place on Monday night, November 20th.
As usual, there will be three Thanksgiving Day games. The Lions host the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys play the Washington Commanders, and the Seattle Seahawks battle the San Francisco 49ers.
The NFL's first Black Friday game happens on November 24th as the Jets tackle the Dolphins.
There will be a pro football triple-header on Christmas Day featuring the Las Vegas Raiders and Chiefs, New York Giants and Eagles, and Baltimore Ravens and 49ers.
The NFL will also sprinkle in five international games throughout the schedule. The contests will be played in England and Germany. [Read More]
