Britney Spears is ready to tell her story at last. Her bombshell memoir's title, cover art and release date have finally been revealed.
The Woman in Me, which features a black-and-white photo of a topless Spears taken in 2001, will hit bookshelves on Oct. 24.
After a bidding war among multiple publishing houses, Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, acquired the memoir. The deal terms were not revealed, but a source familiar with Spears told Variety the deal is “record-breaking.” Reports allergy say that the agreement was worth as much as $15 million.
On Tuesday morning, Spears shared the news on social media with a teaser video. “It’s coming, my story, on my terms… at last,” reads the pastel pink text in the video.
Tuesday night, Britney posted a video about her book telling fans that she worked her ass off for it and that she "had a lot of therapy to get this book done."
