The IRS is warning of another big scam, saying it's so shady they're adding it to their 'Dirty Dozens' list.
If you get a cardboard envelope from a delivery service with a letter inside that has the IRS logo and wording that the notice is “in relation to your unclaimed property", toss it immediately!
The bogus letter is asking for your detailed information, like a clear photo of your driver's license, which identity thieves can use to try to steal tax refunds. The letter also asks for banking info and more.
