The news hit Wednesday that Briteny Spears and Sam Asghari had separated, and shortly after, Sam filed for divorce.
After 14 months of marriage, Sam cited the usual "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for ending the marriage.
He's asking for spousal support and attorneys fees and is looking to contest the prenup. A source told Page Six that Sam is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.” Sources say that Britney will write a check to Sam, which will end it.
Sam separated from Britney after they got into a huge argument in which he alleged she had cheated on him. She denied those allegations. Sam listed the date of separation as July 28, 2023.
