Bridget Waters is a mother of a high school student that attends Great Oak High School in Temecula. She recently shared her story about the bullying against her son after a child who also got bullied at a Moreno Valley School passed away earlier this week.
Two weeks ago, her son Nolan who is a cancer patient, was brutally attached inside the boys bathroom at Great Oaks High School in Temecula. The student who attached her son has a shunt in his brain due to cancer but still attacked him. If Nolan would of hit the 11th grader back he would of been at fault and charged as an adult.
She also stated that another boy stood by to watch while her son get hit in the face numerous times. The tragedy is the school suspended both kids equally, the bully got away with it all, no consequences for bullying!
The Vice Principal of Great Oak High School mocked her son and said that he “provoked the fight”.
She said that he son told teachers as well as other staff letting him know of the impending threat, but no one took him seriously. “This kid who attacked Nolan has been bullying him for over a year, slapping him in the head, startlingly him, preventing him from leaving his classroom,” she said. She fears for his safety and isn't happy with the school districts response to her issue. “A parent doesn’t even have the right to press charges only the DA can decide. The only witnesses were the bully’s friends in the bathroom,” she said.
